Matt is on a mission to bring on the next Renaissance era. In love with all forms of expression, music and movement being two of his favorites. In his yoga classes he wishes to evoke the connection between mind, body and breath. Helping each component move synchronously with the others. The goal as a yoga instructor is to facilitate a space to help each practitioner evolve and refine their own practice while also creating an original, collective experience that everyone can enjoy and benefit from. Trained at Core Power (200hr certified) he continues to learn through diversifying and exploring his own practice. Beyond the yoga mat; Matt likes to stay active, creative and curious through the exploration of himself and the world around him. He'll be stoked to explore with you whenever you can make to class :D
Each class is original, incorporating a sequence of traditional postures while finding new ways to access and combine them. Meditation and pranayama are often a layer of class. Inspired by all forms of yoga; Vinyasa is his favorite, so you will see a heavy influence of that in his classes.
Three things I would put in a time capsule:
1) The book "The Mastery of Love" or "The Four Agreements" either one , both changed my life :D
2)An iPhone loaded with pictures/videos/documents of the world as it is today. (I would gladly travel the world to gather the data)
3) The Mantra: "Loka Samasta Sukino Bhavantu" with Translation: "May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.

- Yoga Lift

Description: Boost your muscles and uplift your soul in a Yoga Lift class. This class unites the high energy of light weight lifting and the mindful alignment of yoga. Light to heavy weights are provided to each student to use during class to add challenge and help strengthen muscles. This is a great class to improve your fitness level and cardiovascular endurance. The spirit of the class will uplift, strengthen, detoxify, and encourage endorphin release. This class is practiced in a hot room, so please bring a towel, water, and wear moisture wicking clothes. Yoga Lift is appropriate for intermediate level students.
